Our History 

As a girl, Joyce Brandt was a human calculator.
#, % and $ were her language.  

Classmates told her she was a  natural-born businesswoman.  She enrolled in business studies and  started her accounting practice in the late 1940’s – a relative novelty  then – a woman business-owner and so young.

After her marriage to Cliff Cooper in 1950, they established  the C. C. Cooper Agency with the motto:  “Your Security is our Business”

In the early 90’s – daughter Lynn Black took the business  into the 2nd generation.  
Joined by engineering husband, Kevin, we're not the typical
"Mom and  Pop"

We stand on the threshold facing the next generation.

THE SOCIETY OF CIC RECOGNIZES LYNN C. BLACK FOR TWENTY YEARS OF LEADERSHIP

Lynn Cooper Black, CIC, of Middletown, Pennsylvania, was recently honored for her ongoing pledge to education, commitment to excellence, and dedication to the insurance profession. The Society of Certified Insurance Counselors (CIC) presented Ms. Black with a formally-inscribed certificate for her continued participation in the CIC Program.

Earning her CIC designation and maintaining all update requirements for twenty years places Ms. Black in the Top One Percent of all insurance professionals in the country: “The high standard maintained by Ms. Black not only benefits C. C. Cooper Agency, but the insurance profession as a whole, said Dr. William T. Hold, CIC, CPCU, CLU, President of the Society of CIC.

The Society of CIC is an organization nationally recognized as a leading continuing education program for insurance professionals.  A not-for-profit organization, the Society of CIC is the cornerstone program for The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research, headquartered in Austin, Texas.

 According to a recent survey by Forrester Research, insurers and agents are better advocates for customers than banks.
